CLASS: Hazardous Waste Satellite Accumulation Area (HWSAA) Manager Training

LOCATION: DPW Environmental Building 1121
DESCRIPTION: This two-hour training class will be take place in the conference room of building 1121 from 1300 to 1500 on 19 July 2022. It is required annually for personnel who handle hazardous waste and for managers and supervisors of personnel, who handle hazardous waste, including those who maintain and operate the hazardous waste satellite accumulation areas in their shops and work areas (HWSAA Managers). The training covers waste characterization, accumulation, and turn ­in requirements as well as spill response procedures. Registration must be completed BEFORE 30 June 2023 to ensure credit is received. Training materials will be provided the day of class.
